I'm picking Jr because I just think he will try harder for this race. Also, he does rather well at that track. Must run in the family.

My heart says Jeffy, but considering how well DEI does at plate racing, I think it will be Jr. It would be nice if Rusty finally won it, even though I'm not a Rusty fan.

I think Matt Kenseth. Don't know why, I think hes going to win alot of races next year.

Matt will probably get a Championship before my guy!:)

I picked someone eles. Johnny Benson!!! Last year I picked Sterling to win the 500 all winter long and he would have if he did not get out of that car. So I will stick with JB all winter long and hope JB does nto try to do any body work during the race.

Out of that list i would have picked Mikey as my second choice

Whoever does there homework will win the Daytona 500. Its a new ball game with the body location and the bigger greenhouse not to mention the new body styles. Really, I think you will get a good idea after they run the Bud Shootout.

Benson or Elliott I think. JB is probably the best plate DRIVER on the circuit. Bill, just a hunch here, but it just seems right.

It might be a long shot, but i'm going to go for our 2001 Daytona 500 winner, Michael Waltrip.

No JB has not won at a plate track but they are one of his strongest tracks just like they are for Mikey. JB's team has done there homework on the new 2003 Pontaic. MBV helped Gibbs develop the car, and they have many many hours working with the new car. I really do think that the MBV/MB2 Pontaics will be up in the front of the packs. Jerry is a pretty good Plate driver as well. I would not be surprised at all if with of them won something during speedweeks.

Last year through speed weeks Tony Stewart was very strong car and picked by the drivers as the one to watch......Then the moter went.

Well, I think the Gibb's boys will on a mission!!!!

Tony wasn't in your poll, but he's my pick.

I gotta go with Fred here. Tony's going to be on a mission. My second choice is Jr. with any luck they'll run 1st and 2nd.
