This is a repost, b/c in the last poll I forgot to include some team owners.

The best way to determine next year's champions are to look at the big teams with the big money. What do you think?

Bumping this post back up to the top, got pushed down by the older poll I put up.

DEI should worry about a top 10 finish before a full blown championship.

I vote Chip Ganassi.

Precisely whom at DEI is capable of winning a championship in 2003? Does that organization have as many wins COMBINED as even Jeff Burton has?

Puhhhh-leeeeeze.

Sadly, you may be right.

I don't see anyone from DEI in the top 10, mush less winning it. JMO.

I was just joking, not baiting. I think one of these years Jr. is going to get it together, maybe next year, probably not.

I voted for Rick Hendrick because he is always dominate is the series with Jeff and now Jimmie.

I think everyone should also look out for Greg Biffle. He could be the first Rookie of the Year that will win the championship. He won the Truck championship in three years the Busch in two years, so it looks like he might win the championship in his first year in Winston Cup.

Bait or not, joke or not, he's got as good a chance as anyone at DEI. AllLip's track record speaks for itself, and Junior ain't got it at this point in time. He may someday have a shot when he gets the adolescence out of his system. But I doubt it.

Thats what I been saying about Jr. all along, got the talent, just not the maturity.

I think Hendrick, i mean with jeff and jimmie he is a force to be reconded with.

I'm surprised more people didn't vote for this year's championship winning owner, Joe Gibbs.

Let's not forget who was leading most of this season, Sterling Marlin. I voted Ganassi, though, Roush and Hendrick also look really good.

Of Roush's 4 cars, 3 are in the top-10 in points, 2 in the top-5. WIth 5 cars next year, keep your eye out for Roush. Also, if Jeff Gordon finished 4th in and off-season, god-help us when they get that team running well again.

i hope he does good, and gets a louder boo from the crowd then tony will get. i love goin to the races and hearing the boo :D

If I was a driver, I wouldn't like getting booed, but I guess that's just a part of any sport when you are really good.

I have to agree with you.

I think Rusty's streak of years with a win coming to an end will actually work in his favor. He will be out to make a statement early and often. And with him going to Dodge, another mark in his favor.

Rusty was probably the most consistant driver this year. To finish sixth in points without a win is very good.

Ward Burton fan that I am, I just want to point out that I was NOT one of the people who voted for BDR. I just don't see that happening.

Looks like another case where 90% of the people voted with their hearts rather than their heads.

BDR has a lot to do before they are become a championship contending team. Other than Daytona, they really got behind the ball this year.

Yep.But at least we have a lot of good hearted folks TW.

My money would be on Roush. My heart speaks the same. :D

Yeah, those NASCAR rules are pretty strict. All bets are off when they're violated. :)

You couldn't use a stick to smack me Paul? You had to use a club.:nyanya:

Of course.

You should see the baseball bat I've used over in the cool man stuff thread.

Why do you think Roush is starting another team. He figures the more he has, the more likely he can get the top spot. Who wants to make bets on how many of the 5 Rousch cars get in the top-10 next year? I'm saying 4.

Maybe 6. Sure, why not throw in Jon Wood. If Roush hires 10 drivers, he just might fill up the top-10 enough to get the top spot. lol

I just hope he hires someone that can measure springs.:D

Maybe Roush and Hendrick will merge, then they would own half of the top-10.

*chills*

No, let's not think about mergers. That would be a bad thing.

Do you realize if you combined Roush and Hendrick, that is 11 teams????

Roush: Martin, Burton, Kenseth, Busch, Biffle, Rudd (in the #21)
Hendrick: Gordon, Nemechek, T. Labonte, Johnson, Sprague

I am going with the odds. Jack will since he is feilding the most cars at 5 next year. All of the drivers are pretty goos and at least 3 of them should be contiders

Roush is just going to keep adding teams until he owns them all. Then he will be finially get a cup championship.
