If you are a baseball fan, you really should get Ken Burn's BASEBALL. It was a documentray series on PBS several years ago. Great stuff.

Buck O'Neil has a lot of great sstories from the Negro leagues.
 
The guy is an unbelievable story teller. Great great person. Very famous when it comes to baseball history. He's made the rounds on Letterman and Leno. He also has made many appearances on several National sports programs.
