I believe that are no states that still considers Veteran's Day a Holiday. What a shame

I'm off. State offices closed.

Kat, our state employees take every holiday off. That's just one more day they get paid not to work. They would try to make more if they could. No holiday for me.

People groan about it, but here's the other side. I took about an $8000 pay cut when I took a State job. Therefore, I don't feel too bad about a holiday or two.
