Whose At Fault?

When Rusty and Kyle got in to it. Did Rusty slip up and tag Kyle? Or did Kyle come down on Rusty? What do you think? I say Rusty sliped up in to Kyle and hit him.
 
I'm with you petty..........but it could go either way. Both were doing all they could to keep off each other. Just one of "dem racin' deals".:)
 
I don't think anyone is at fault.

There doesn't always have to be someone at fault.
 
Well do yall think Kyle had a top ten going and did Nascar ever interveiw Kyle?
 
Well i would of loved to hear kyles side of the story
 
I think I heard Kyle piss and moan about Rusty being too eager or something to that effect. But NASCAR didn't enterview him.:)
 
NASCAR needs to get on the ball with their interviews man, that's just horrible.
 
I think Kyle might do good next week at Dover... his last win was there 7 and a half years ago at the spring race in 85

I bet you, though I may be wrong, that Kyle would have said something like, "Well, we were racing around the track and as we were entering turn three our cars bumped into each other and we wrecked" :)

I hope he does wonderfully. I pull for Kyle to do well each week.
 
Kyle could win any moment now.........but I'm beginning to think he should maybe consider just being a team owner. Get out of the car and run a first race team. And I was a Kyle Petty fan when he drove the Mellow Yellow machine!!

Kyle is good when ts comes down to whose fault it is he dont normally say much

Judging from the nice overhead view that I saw, I'd say Rusty got into the corner too hot, drifted into Kyle and wrecked him.

Just one man's opinion.
 
Whether Rusty drifted up or not is mute. There was plenty of room for Kyle to not stay down but that point is also mute. It's called racing and it is typical on a flat track for guys to forget that there are other cars around them. Kyle could have easily let him go or at least tried to give him a bit more room.....

......IF (really BIG IF) he knew he was there which I doubt.
 
Not sure at the time of the incident that Kyle and Rusty were even racing each other. Thought at the time and after seeing replays of the contact last night still think that Rusty got in way too hot. Other drivers were having to check up and Rusty dove underneath them; when his momentum brought him back up the track Kyle was occupying that particular piece of real estate.
 
Yea, but just a little hotter and it would have been 8 tires making the turn instead of 4.:D

It did look to me like Rusty pushed up a bit, but had Kyle known he was coming thru seems to me like he would have let him. Rusty is way agressive, and Kyle is almost to the point of needing a motor like the ones his Pa used to use if he's ever going to win another race.
 
Well heck I'll put in my two cents. I'm a Rusty fan but I think Rusty just got in to hot and pushed up. There was a lot going on in front of him and some cars slowed. He seen ahole and went for it. But I don't think Rusty would ever wreck Kyle just to get him out of the way. So just one of them racing deals. Would love to see Kyle get a win. Kyle is such a sweet heart. If and when he gets that win I know I'll just cry.
 
They were all pushing it like a Sat.night shootout.Rusty included.The race conditions fed the momentum in this area.;)
 
I pushed it to hard that day also,I rattled Ms Pbunch cage a little to hard.:p But you know who wound up in the Pbunch Nascar trailer don't you?ME.:D
 
Lets just say there most likely will not be any love maintenace for a week or so.:( :)
 
Ahhhh.....so you were penalized for actions detrimental to the Pbunch household.;)

I just call em like I see em.:D And I don't see you winning this one in the long run pb. Not a chance.:p I've got a feeling that ol Mrs. Pb wears the britches in that family.:p

pb, women are ALWAYS RIGHT :p

As to the Petty/Wallace thing............too late to call, but I think Rusty was guilty more than once during that race just because he was trying to charge to the front, no matter what.

PB, I knew you would say something about getting in the pants, I just knew it. Your getting predictable ol chum.:)

I guess I should add something thread related while I'm here. It was all Rusty's fault when he took out Kyle. Rusty is driving with a real hot head these last few races and it'll come back to bite him before too long.
 
So true B.C., I think it's because Rusty hasn't won this year. As we get closer to the end of the season, I think he will get more desperate. He has a winning streak to keep alive. Rusty is highly competitive, Ryan's win just puts more fuel on the fire.

Life mid-pack and back is not easy to take. Rusty's frustration is obviously growing. In his mind I think he believes he was blocked and booted out of a win.

His streak is coming down to the nitty gritty. His style is going to continue to reflect this.
 
I was a NHIS and to me, not because I am a Rusty fan and all, but Petty leaned into Rusty. That' s just my opinion though.
 
I think that Petty might not of known he was there, because if he would have known he probably would have eased his line up a bit. Actually leaned on purpose, I don't think so but I'm not inside the car and haven't had a chance to ask him.
