Why doesn't Jon Wood drive for the Wood Brothers?

Just wondering if he might take over the 21 ride. Isn't he family.
 
He is family,yes.Roush and the Wood Brothers 'share' info.I would imagine after Roush grooms Jon in BGN for a couple of years,he would in fact go to the Wood Brothers at the cup level.Just speculation.I haven't read anything about his long term plans,though.
 
I never thought of Jon Wood going into the #21, but why not? They hired Elliott Sadler out of the busch series and made him a rookie, here's their chance to put in another rookie, but this time family.
 
I would Still Give Jon a year In Busch, Possibly in the #9 or #60 Roush cars. He has been driving Trucks as of late and I believe he needs a year just to make sure that he is ready for not only Stock cars But for WC.
