Hill sure got hit with a severe penalty but is it fair?
Let's rewind, first Almirola purposely tagged Hill making him lose traction
and thus could have caused a big accident. Lucky for Almirola, Hill was able to save his car from having huge contact with the wall and maybe wrecking other drivers.
Hill did exactly what Almirola did to him and yet because Almirola hit the wall and he cried like a baby to Nascar and the Public he gets away with it.
In my opinion Nascar has to come down hard on anyone who moves another driver purposely. Almerola's move was no different than Hill's and really was more dangerous than Hill's retaliation. I say this because it is what started the whole problem.
It is this mentality that causes every restart to end up in another caution.
Personally I think Nascar wants these incidents and that is why we have double file restarts which actually is a punishment to race leaders.

I'm a bit of a Hill fan so it hurt when I saw
his choice of retaliation. It seemed rather obvious
he made a bad choice that borderlines a need
to address some sort of anger mgt issue. The
right rear quarter on counter clockwise ovals is
really a do not touch zone no matter the circumstance.

What Austin Hill did was Kyle Busch, Ron Hornaday all over again. Comparing it to Almirola making him loose is weird, to say the least.

Almirola did nothing to deserve getting sent straight on into the wall at 160 MPH.

Austin Hill pulled a Chase Elliott, and people are trying to defend him. That's wild.
Please Hill was way worse then Chase, and honestly Chase's is the weakest of the suspensions.
