There seems to be so much trash on the racetracks. Why is that? It would seem to me they would want a clean surface. I know its not completly possible but anything is better than what I've seen so far.

Fans that can't put papers and such in bags or pockets until they find a garbage can?

Sometimes you don't get the chance to put the trash where it belongs. Judging from the way the flags were flying, I'd say spectators had a hard time holding on to hats and their hair.
And some tracks seem to be worse than others.
