Not really, Kat. It was really a disappointment this year. The cities of Northridge, Mission Hills and Van Nuys really put a damper on the show this year. Two years ago it was a pretty darn good show, last year wasn't quite as good because all the aero demonstrations had to be done high off the ground, this year no demonstrations at all!!:( Those three cities killed a nice little show here in the San Fernando Valley. Talk about whiners!!

I once went to an airshow at the Rhinebeck Aerodrome, upstate. It was very cool seeing all those old biplanes spinning around and setting off "bombs", until the emcee started interviewing an 80-something year old pilot. I got an up-close look at the guy. He was no older than 35, and wearing a grey wig and fake moustache. Pretty lame.

My family is going to the Edwards Air Show next Saturday. Should be fun. They will have the F-22 there.

I hate dishes the most.

Laundry is a close second, especially if the machines are on different floors.

I thought of the Edwards Airshow........but damn that is about an hour and a half just to Rosamond from her!! Might still do it but we'll have to see.:D

Went to a local festival today, in the rain! Found some good things. Had a youth rally to go to for church last night. Been reading to catch up on things.

My first one was three years ago. Man that was cool. I guess it was there 50th annervisary or something and they had about 20 airplanes fly over in at the same time. Old planes to new planes everything was there. Got to see a SR-71 fly over as well as the thunderbirds and the F-22. The next year I didn't go for some reason and last year it was cancelled because of 9-11.

i went to my friends to delver a CD "Puddle 3 UN-PLUGED" and we listioned to it. and then talked to to guys talking about drugs and how bad meth is arond here:(

I watched my Gopher football team beat Michigan St. 28-7. Then watched my #1 ranked Gopher Hockey team lose 3-1 :(

I spent the day racing my Legend car on dirt. I got first in the heat and took second in the feature. I had first coming through turn 4 on the last lap but bobbled and ended up second. That would have been my first feature win. Great time!

That sounds fun, JarrettFan. I have some friends that race on the dirt, but have never seen a dirt track race in person. On TV they look pretty fun though!

Hi rpmallen. Dirt racing is a hoot! But I can't compare it to asphalt because I have never raced on it. We don't have any paved tracks in ND, only dirt. You owe it to yourself to go to a dirt race sometime. They are great!!!! Especially the Late Models. I like them better than the Sprints. Legends are also fun to watch (more fun to drive) on dirt. Always a lot of action.

Just don't sit too far into turn one!!:D Well, if you like mud and dirt in your face, go ahead!!:D

the mud and dirt comming out of the truns makes the popcorn and drinks taste better. :D

Well, it's 8:15pm here.......11:15 where most of you guys are and it's slowed considerably tonight!! Time for a shower and a little TV, then off to the bed so I can get to work tomorrow reasonably rested. Good race today.......fun on the forum!!:)

Good night all.:)

Jarrettfan, where do you race at? I surprised your season is still going!!

Late Models and mofieds are definitely my favorites to watch. I also love watching the street stock races. Just normal guys out on a Saturday night.

I'm back from a long weekend, I think I went to the beach yesterday because there was sand in my shoes when I woke up.

Hi mngopherguy, all of our race tracks are closed for the season. However, a small track at Underwood ND put together a cheaters night for all the classes. The local Legends dealer brought his 8 rental cars to rent out during the afternoon and then we raced the Legends that evening. I was a benefit race for the track. They were about $3500 in the hole. Our Legends group made them about $2500 with the car rentals. I'm sure that is our last race of the season unless we can find somewhere indoors to race. Even though it was only 40 degrees outside, it was still a BLAST!!!

Sounds like alot of fun JareettFan. Someday I'll be racing a modified, some day :)

I hope that day comes soon for you. It is a great time. This is my first year racing. I have only raced Legends and driven a Jarrett/Farve driving adventure at Atlanta.

How in the world could you drive anything associated with Farve??? Thanks though, I just want to race locally and enjoy it.

Thanks Paul :) This is the only NASCAR board I go to now, even the Gordon fans are usually pretty cool ;) :D
