RIVER HILLS, Wis. -- A Milwaukee-area physician walking his dog was killed along with the pet when a car ran into them, left the road, and smashed into a tree. The driver died in the car.
The Milwaukee County medical examiner's office identified the pedestrian as 47-year-old Dr. Michael Richter and the driver as 72-year-old Robert Litzow of River Hills.
