Elm City, NC – With close to five inches of rain hitting the red Carolina clay earlier in the day, and more in the forecast, people were wondering of County Line Raceway would be running. Well, with the ARDC Midgets coming to town, the racing was on as scheduled. The rain stopped falling early afternoon, leaving a soft and sticky track for the midgets and the other four weekly classes. Along with the midgets, fans were treated to a wild (and sometime bizarre) night of racing on the clay bullring with late models, pure stock V8s, pure stock four cylinders, and super stock four cylinders.
