Been meanin to ask you,is there any place that has insight to race car tech info? I keep lookin around and all I find is the driver love fest.

If you want tech...read Circle Track mag...the rest of the mags are DEI/RCR love fests except for WC Scene...they seem to be unbiased & do a good job of covering all Nascar's big three series, but no tech in this one.

The closest thing I can think of is NMRA, NMCA, Moparchat. They've got a lot of categories, but all related to Drag Racing. Like anything else, you need to pick between the chaff and the wheat. To be honest with you, if boB had the time, he could probably give enough basic chassis background knowledge to help extrapolate to current technologies. Same with HS.

The way I stay "on top" is to be involved with one project or another. It forces me to ask the aftermarket manufactures a lot of questions.

The more I ponder this, I recall how I was somewhat confounded when I first began using the internet back in ...'94?? for engine research. I was shocked to discover I new more than a lot of folks I was trying to learn from. That threw me for quite a long while. But as time progressed, I can honestly say I have had the fortune to meet a few VERY well informed folks who have helped me along the way. Just took a lot of looking.

Have you ever heard of ENG-TIPS? It's an online community for engineering types. They have an Automotive area with contributors from all levels of professional motorsports. Take a look. Feel free to post questions (need to keep it matter of fact), but if you post advise make sure you've got the technology in hand. Folks supporting F1 may be looking in and have other opinions. You can get some really good tech info there.

Thank you. I agree that Circle Track & Racing Technology is the best paper publication.
