Wonder if we could put an asterisk by JJ's? I think Matt would have won if it went the full 600 (stop me if I sound like an Earnhardt fan...hehehe)

Dale Earnhardt is the only driver to win a championship in his second season in Nascar.

Matt's car always came in during the long runs (or wouldn't go away as much as the others). Even Jabber Jaw said it.

From what I saw jimmie had a better car then mat the whole day, the only one I saw that could have had a chance in taking him was Bobby.

As for that list of drivers that won both races, how many started dead last in the 600???

Now were pulling straws out of a hat. The only reason JJ was out front was a faster pit stop. At first Matt lost time to JJ, but was gaining on him again (during a long run). The only time JJ was faster was when he was out front in 'clean air'. When Matt was leading, JJ wasn't gaining on him.

As for the driver who lead the most laps? Who was that?

As for a list of drivers who won both races...how many of the 600 races were shortened to 470 some miles?
