9 drivers have won a race this year.
Last year at this time 14 drivers had won a race.

Jeff Gordon is hogging them...........he has more that his share!! :)

It should start evening out here shortly though, around this time was when ryan was racking up his wins. Unless jeff keeps it up :D lol.

Seriously though for some reason, there have been alot more repeat winners so far this season. Most people in the top 10 with a win last year only had 1 win at this time. This year: Jeff,Dale Jr, Jimmie, and matt, all have multiple wins.

It's about time for Tony to start showing up too!! :D But, each year is different.........we'll see!!

Yes I think Tony will start being a factor, but remember to be on the lookout for KK. I think he'll rack up more than 1 win in the second half. :D

Tony got his wings clipped !!!!!! Look for a major change.

My prognosis is, Tony will be a factor from here on in and his driving style considerably different from the beginning of the year when he was involved in half the on-track incidents, feeling the need to stick his nose in a closing hole or running into someone.

In a recent post I made mention of the fact the drivers who control their emotions are the ones who are winning.

Now Tony has gotten his annual reality check, and in recent interviews acted considerably more relaxed, he will be a solid contender once again.

Given time, and this could very well be the time, Tony will stop being his own worse enemy. If he can retain a relaxed attitude look for Tony Stewart to be a front runner rather than the "bad boy of NASCAR'.

He is too good a driver and too decent a person to deserve such notoriety.

I would expect to see both of Evernham's teams pick up wins before the season comes to an end. Both Kasey and Jeremy are close to breaking into the Top-10.
Jamie McMurray also seems like he is due for a win, it has been awhile since he won at Charlotte back in 2002.
