Woman uses wedgie to capture suspected thief
Tue Feb 17, 4:27 pm ETSALT LAKE CITY – It took a wedgie and a headlock to pin down a man suspected of breaking into a car. Yvonne Morris, a technician at the Brickyard Animal Hospital, said she chased a man who broke into a co-worker's car, but he kept squirming away from her.

Morris eventually grabbed the man's boxer shorts and pulled. Salt Lake City police said she then she put a headlock on the man until help could arrive.

The man was booked into the Salt Lake County jail on suspicion of vehicle burglary, possession of stolen property and outstanding warrants.

Escapee Gets Lost, Calls 911

Tennessee prison officials say an inmate who left a work detail at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary farm called 911 after getting lost in the woods.

Officials said trusty Bruce Price of Bedford County got a cell phone in the woods, where it may have been left by someone else in a preset arrangement.

Tennessee Department of Correction spokeswoman Dorinda Carter says Price lost his bearings Sunday and used the phone to call for help about an hour and 45 minutes later.

Authorities are considering escape charges against him.
