I actually went to both of these, went to Hagerstown and got hooked up for Tyler County. I thought the facilities at Hagerstown were pretty nice, grandstand seating is pretty tight with a big crowd. Racing wasn't very good on saturday though. Racing was pretty good at Tyler County though. That facility is a dump though, so I guess it is pretty fitting for the Hillbilly 100. Tyler county is probably almost as bad as Baton Rouge with the dusty conditions. Those 2 tracks are pretty legendary with the amount of dirt they throw at you, definitely need some eyewear there. Tyler County Speedway really is in the middle of nowhere. I was not able to get any cellphone coverage there, I went to one of the stores in town(theres like 3 stores in the whole town) to use a pay phone, local calls only. Went to another store for a payphone, local calls only, WTF? When you are in Tyler County there is no communicating with the outside world..
The track is on the Tyler County Fairgrounds property, there is also a public school there, but strangest thing was a campground that I think is some kind of government housing thing. There were all these RVs, with no vehicle to pull them. It looked like they had power lines running to them. Very strange area, i've never been to a track more in the middle of nowhere.
