Congratulations, it's taken about two years hasn't it?

2nd round was much worse than the first. Heavy rain, lots of lightning/thunder.
Looks like it's all moved to the south of me, now. Still hearing rumbles of thunder, but much further away.
Big Dog has finally relaxed and stretched out on his side --- paws are even beginning to twitch.

Guess it's pretty much over.

Investing in new radio equipment towards end of next week that should allow me better comms to FW, Mineral Wells, Arlington, GP, and Dallas.

Congrats on your health Mike.

Do people normally tweak out about thunderstorms? Ive sat through cat 2 hurricanes and the reddest weather forecasts with more lightening bolts on a map youll ever see... without much of a worry. Although my gf is from cali and anytime it rains hard she gets nervous :D

It depends. I can handle pretty much anything during the day. As long as I can see what's happening, I'm OK --- night is a totally different matter.
I grew up in Houston, and lived there until 2003 --- I've been through a few hurricanes myself.

I usually love to watch the storms going thru but when I seen my neighbors shed get picked up and then it was gone .Made me kinda start staying away from the windows for a little while.
