Would you consider boycotting a Cup race after the IRP crap.

What if fans could cherry pick one race, like a Kansas or Michigan snoozer. What if the fans agreed we would even not watch it on TV.

What if we sent our tickets stubs and evidence that we watched other racing events on that weekend but intentionally ignored the chosen event. What if we had petitions with millions of signatures, and letter campaigns to their corporate sponsors.

The point Nascar is forsaking the fans, killing the Short tracks, the Rockingham's, Wilksboros, Darlingtons, and now Lucas or IRP. The message is screw you fans, we want more money, good racing be damned.

Nascar is becoming the family member we still love, but in serious need of an intervention or reality check. A good slap to the face, what do you think?

No can do.

That would have to mean giving up tailgaiting.

....and that ain't happening.:beerbang:

Living here in the Indianapolis area, I was shocked to hear that IRP was losing it's race next year to IMS. Wonder what 30,000 fans sitting in a facility that holds 300,000 will look like on TV:D

Just think. If enough of you boycott, then maybe you can put nascar out of business and then you won't have to worry about where they race, or who wins. Boy you will show them.

If I lived near IRP, I guess I would. As far as I'm concerned, NASCAR is a business, and if this move gets the NW series more attention, it's all good.

Thats the last thing I want.
I just want them to put the actual racing product ahead of their corporate interest.
Too many quality races are being replaced with cookie cutter tracks.

And I am tired of all the Nascar commentators ignoreing the obvious. France and company needs to feel some heat.
