Wow Nickelback is hated

I've never understood the hatred for Nickleback, I mean I only know their big songs like Rockstar but I think they are pretty good, Detroit should be happy they didn't get the Jo Bros or The Beiber.

Nickelback has some good songs and some bad ones just like every other band. Are the jo Bros still together? lol

Since it's Detroit they better be glad they didn't get Kid Rock.

So what if they sound similar, it sounds good, if you think about it every bands songs sound the same. Its not like Garth Brooks released a rap album.
 
too bad they couldn't get bob seeger or one of the older motown groups. they might even have been able to lure ted nugent off a hunting trip but nickleback? they have squat to do with detroit. i don't like them either. even some guy named eminem would have been fine with me.

I like quite a few of their songs. I wouldn't say that they are a top 10 favorite or anything, but they have some good stuff like...

I seem to always here people bash Nickelback I dont think they are that bad of a band and with alot of the artists out there today (Gaga, Nikki Managa what ever her name is, Bieber and all the other autotune musicians).

Gaga's original, I give her that much.

Nickleback isn't bad, I'd say 90% of the crap out there is worse. But, that's what people like. The worst songs I've ever heard end up being #1 hits time and time again.

That's idiotic. Madonna isn't in the same league as Gaga when it comes to original music videos. Gaga's up there with Michael Jackson in that department.
