Just got a day off...........actually the company I work for is held up on a couple of jobs. Us electricians wind up helping the bosses out..........we get a day or two off! No work, no pay! But to be fair, I have a friend who's an electrical contractor and he worked by butt off for two days........made up the difference plus some!! Might be starting with another company next week.

Yeah me too..........but 20 hrs in two days!! Especially since for the last 3 mos I've been doing in 8 hrs what could have been done in 4 (time and material job, you know!!). When my friend gets big enough, I will probably work for him.........he's a workaholic and will work your a$$ off if you let him!! But, what can I say? Good, honest bosses are hard to come by.

Well it was refreshing for a change. About 4500 ft of wire pulled and about 60 GFI plugs installed for Christmas lights in a shopping center. Lots of work for three people! I'm sore as hell from yanking and pulling on number 10 wire!
Had a swarm of bees decide that one of the light poles that we had to put a plug on was the place to build a new home!! That was a site to see...........thousands of bees swarming a pole and settling on the newly placed wreath. Animal control came out. Thought they would relocate them.........they didn't. Just sprayed them.........sort of sad in a way.
