WTF Moments

Feel free to share those moments in time that make you go "WTF:confused:". I'll start.

It's acceptable for other people to miss deadlines by days because they're having marital problems and are under a lot of stress. But it's not acceptable for me to miss a last minute deadline by 2 minutes (because I can be 6 places at once:rolleyes:). WTF?!

So different people, different standards for work.

My personal WTF moment is when ever I open a thread started by a certain poster and go WTF was I thinking. I knew this was going to be a WTF thread that is a waste of reading energy and 30 seconds of my life I'll never get back...

My last one was when I woke up at 11:17 this morning and remembered I had a physical therapy appointment at 11am this morning.

Theifs WTF

A Parker County family is enduring a double dose of tragedy.

Judd and Betty Putnam lost their daughter, Laura, in 2003 when two boats collided on Lake Lyndon B. Johnson near Marble Falls in central Texas.

Laura, 23, was a recent graduate of Texas Tech University; she had found a marketing job in Lubbock and she had just become engaged.

It took two weeks to find her body and then several months for game wardens and a Texas Ranger to find the San Antonio man who caused the wreck.

The young woman's ashes were kept in an urn at her family's home on Farm Road 1187, south of Aledo. But on Thursday, burglars entered the home and stole some jewelry boxes and the urn.

Her parents want the urn back.

"I would hope that once they discover what they got there, that they would get it somewhere," Judd Putnam said. "My thought is they could take it to any funeral home and leave it. Just set it on the front porch; they will know what it is.

"Or just bring it to me, no questions asked, and they get the reward."

People that post on an internet forum and think their opinion is the only correct one. Especially after they just posted everyone is entittled to their own opinion. Then slams someone offering an opinion that opposes their's. I'm like, what the heck?

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, wrong as they may be. :p

Mine was on Friday, early afternoon. Didn't sleep much the night before, had to get up early to take my daughter to an appointment and came home for a nap. I was so sound asleep it took a couple of times for me to realize what was happening. The house was shaking and it was LOUD. Then I realized it was the air show weekend and either a U.S. fighter jet or the Canandian Snowbirds had flown directly over my house. Sure was glad it wasn't some kind of crazy earthquake. :)
