CLANTON LOOKS TOWARDS THE DIRT TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
World 100 winner looking to add DTWC to his trophy case

Waverly, OH: Shane Clanton is sitting on top of the "World". Fresh off the biggest win of his career Shane Clanton isn't one to rest on his laurels. He has his sights set squarely on the next biggest prize in dirt late model racing. The Dirt Track World Championship trophy is considered the second most prized trophy in dirt late model racing and was clearly on Shane's mind when he stated:

"I don't know how many people have or if anyone has won them both in the same season but I know I would like to", exclaimed Clanton. When he was told that Jack Boggs told had accomplished that feat in 1995 and that Steve Francis had also grabbed "BOTH WORLDS" in 1999, Shane stated "he would sure like to be the first driver to do it in the new millennium". Then he continued, "We have a lot World of Outlaws races to get through in the next few weeks but, our car was really good at K-C last month for the Outlaw race there, I'm really looking forward to going back" Clanton driving RSD Enterprises, SAE Parts, Stevens Plumbing and Mechanical Rocket Chassis #25 will be among the favorites to be on hand to try and win the Dirt Track World Championship.
