A 2-year-old child was injured Monday after a dozen razor blades were glued to playground equipment at a park in East Moline, Ill. According to NBC affiliate KQWC, the child suffered a cut to the hand but was not injured seriously. After treating the boy at home, the victim's father and police went back to the park, where they discovered additional razor blades attached to the playground equipment with white putty. Police closed the park until all of the razor blades were found and removed from the monkey bars, a slide and the ground. Police are looking for suspects in the case and searching other area parks for similar pranks. Read »

Ordinarily, I would try to understand what would make somebody do something like this to people they don't even know. But, in this case, I don't even want to think about it what would possess someone to want to hurt children for no reason that would make sense to anyone but them and other likeminded twisted freaks. I just hope they find these assholes and try to address some of their issues and protect the public from them at the same time.

A copycat????
Parents in a Pennsylvania community are on edge after police say a vandal attached razor blades to playground equipment. The razor blades were found duct-taped on playground equipment at Eaton Park at West Maple and Mount Vernon Avenues in Brookhaven on Tuesday. While no children were hurt, parents from the community expressed outrage over the incident. "It's just absurd," said Joe Lombardo, the father of a 3-year-old boy. "I can't believe someone could do something like that. I'd definitely kill somebody over that. If my son got hurt, it would be a great thing for the cops to find them, let's put it that way." That exact thing was going on around here a few years back. It's baffling to try and understand why someone even thinks about doing things like this.

It's probably some viral thing started by internet trolls on reddit or 4chan or something.

When my son was young enough I would take him to elementary school. There was the sweetest special needs little girl in his class that wanted to hug everyone.
I thought she was just the sweetest kid I ever saw.

I was talking to the teachers about her later on and about her cheerfulness. They told me they was trying to stop her from being so loving and all into the hugs.
I appreciate their wisdom, it had to be done because as she matured to many sickos would want more than a hug.

Still it was sad to see her being restricted, a messed up world for sure.

That's really sad that someone had to be adjusted so that the sikfux wouldn't take advantage of them. It's the world we live in :(

People are just ****** up. I know somebody who is a welder at a shipyard where they build boats for the Navy (being intentionally vague) and they caught razor blades glued to the bottom of all the handrails on the unfinished ship. More than one. This was a recurrence for a while.

Why would you do that to people you work with? That's just ****** up.

Assbag people, fed up with their own shortcomings, create obstacles for the undeserving. They crave the spotlight and recognition.

That's pretty foul.

I remember seeing that exact same thing happen in a WWF storyline about 15 years ago. I didn't think anyone was sick enough to do it in real life. Then again, I didn't think anyone would be sick enough to go into an elementary school and gun down a bunch of little kids either. Unfortunately, there isn't much that surprises me anymore.

I loved that storyline haha, Al Snow and Big Boss Man haha.

But yeah these news stories just make me shake my head.

Yep, that gave us the greatest match ever, the Kennel From Hell match.

Boss Man was involved in some pretty grimy storylines. I remember the one with Big Show where he interrupted Show's dad's funeral, tied the casket to the back of his car, and was dragging it around the cemetery with Big Show on top of it, trying to hold on to it. It's hilarious looking back on it now, but when I originally saw it as a kid, I was so appalled. LOL.

Sorry for the diversion, y'all, but I needed a good laugh after reading all the craziness in this thread.
