Just heard Ty Gibbs whining a bit about A.J.'s winning move. Suck it up, kid.
He’s been handed the best equipment his entire life and rarely has raced an equal. Ty wrecked his only competition last week to win and gets a little roughed up to lose this week and runs his mouth about it.

He’s got a lot of growing up to do.

Based only on his performances this season, the young man has proven himself worthy of his ride.

He's a winner. He'll be fine...

I'd say both are true - he's been handed great equipment but has also done extremely well in that equipment.

Yeah I’m definitely not staying he’s thrown his opportunities away. He’s excelled at every angle. Although his path has been one of the least resistance. He’ll get a Cup ride very soon and then we’ll see how far his talent will take him when the financial backing and teamwork is about equal among the top teams.

Yeah I agree, I watched him wreck/move a couple of drivers out of the way in the ARCA (not clean passes) nothing like when he was passed (schooled) today. Two things: right now it is all new and they are falling over him to interview the new blood the great Gibbs hope. If he does what he always does it won't be long before he thinks he is entitled. I saw a bit of that today. Number two: I always watch the new wild fast ones and see what happens when they have a serious bell ringing accident. If he can come back from one or two of those and still be on pace after it he will be around for awhile.

I watched on DVR late yesterday. I thought AJ was toast after the penalty but he blew past most of field like it wasn't there. Even before the caution, he'd rallied for second. No, he wouldn't have won without the yellow but second still would have been an impressive performance.
