It's just about 8 pm here in sunny Southern California and I'm getting ready to go back to work tonight. 
Already put in about 7 1/2 hrs today to boot!! We are putting in a new 1200 amp electrical service for a small shopping center in a town called La Cresenta about 10 miles from here. The problem is that Edison has to increase the wire size to handle the additional load required for our new service. It's going to require a complete shut down of about a 5 block area along Foothill Blvd (a pretty busy street with lots of businesses and a fair number of residences too). I don't imagine too many of the effected people are very happy about it, but it has to be done...........tonight at 10 o'clock is the night!! We have to do our end of the work as Edison does theirs. It's a work till it's done thing.........no matter how long it takes or what kind of problems we run into. We've done all we can do to make it happen relatively quickly but you never know what may happen. It's nothing but hard work and all the complicated stuff is done on our part........but Edison has a bunch of stuff to do too. We can't leave until they get done and restore the power so we can check everything out on our end. This could be a piece of cake or a nightmare. My cutie is going to be all by herself tonight......y'all keep her company.
