Race #31 of 36 for the season and #5 of 10 for the Chase. Don't give up yet. With last weeks results in the book things have tightened up. It's getting tougher and tougher to make picks with the drivers available starts being used up.

You can actually make your picks for the entire year week #1 if that's what you'd like. Not you personally but anyone that would want to. I usually make mine in advance just in case I forget or I'm unable to. To do so you just click on the week that you want to make picks for and then make them like you do for the current week.

I hear you but the issue with that is anyone ahead of you can stay ahead of you by copying your picks.

I believe they go hidden after they can no longer be changed. I also have #88 and didn't know until I came on here that he had a boo boo. Nice. I'd have thought that Fender would have mentioned it in the hourly updates he feels the need to send me but nooooooooooooo. Thanks.

Edit. Actually, I don't know what in hell I'm talking about as sometimes I can see them and sometimes I can't. Gawd!

I know in years past you could see picks but I thought that had changed. Yes, picking Jr early in the week and eventually being replaced with a NE was like a smack in the head, literally. :(

I think I'll put Kahne in his place. He usually does well at Charlotte and at this point I'm kind of pulling for him to make a run at the title. Go Kasey!

I wonder if anyone had time to get a Regan Smith pick in for this week . He did real well in practice and may well get a top five this weekend.

After the BENCH is locked you can see others picks. They are smart enough to hide even Q points so people can't figure who your 8 players for the week may be.

He was being super cautious on his Q run and exiting 3 feet off the wall. The last thing he wants is to wreck Jr's car.

If I were a chase contender, I would be super cautions around the 3 guys out to prove something this week. AJ, Regan and Kurt.

I didn't get to see qualifying. I was getting ready for the Steelers/Titans debacle here in the Pittsburgh market.
 
Once again, I forget to do my bench switching. I've fallen so far back, there is little hope for me. The only drivers I used up are Biffle and Almorola, so I have no excuses to use other than that one. ;)
 
I'm off to a pretty good start!

I picked Biffle, Martin and Johnson so I got me a few boner points!!

I hope that translates into finishing positions!!! :)

Johnson scored well for me when I played him for the most part but Biffle is who really helped me get to were I've been. I don't care for the guy myself but he really ran well when I played him early on in the season. There's all kinds of ways to play this game. You can play them while there hot or you can try to bank them until the end to make a run. I've had more success over the years playing them while they're hot. Points are points regardless of the time of the year in this game. I'm not thanking any sponsors yet though. I'm concerned going into the final six as my lead has dwindled, big time. :eek:

You don't quite understand dp. A hundred point lead that is dwindling is not exactly the same as a three point lead that is dwindling like the common racers back in the pack.There is no way we can really feel your fear because it is so far removed from our racing reality. If this were a tv broadcast , instead of showing the top five all the time , the camera would pan back in the pack and show the side by side racing that is going on there . But alas, the spotlight will always be on the top two. Good luck with that. :D

And again, had I taken Hamlin I would have scored more or if I didn't have the race winner on the bench I would have scored more. There are all kinds of variables in this game. Heck, had I swapped my bench guy in the 'C' group, I would have scored more. Just no luck this weekend.
 
Not making my picks in time killed me. Also I have too many top drivers with too many starts remaining. I messed this up from the get go.
