Race #27 of #36. Heading into the final 10 races of the season positions are still changing throughout the field and many close battles remain. Only 15 points separates the top 2. 375 points separate the top 10. With some of the top points teams using up their best drivers, it's still most anyone's game.

i re-revised the revised plan from a few weeks ago. so keep your eye on what the current top ten do over the next few weeks if you want, but for real entertainment watch my rise from 19th!

I thought Mr Ed would bring me some Q points, and I wasn't convinced Penske would step it up in the chase. The just beat Chad's best car, so I think Brad may win 2 or 3 more in the Chase.

No worries though. I should gain ground for the first time in a couple of weeks.

I'm very curious to see how #2 makes out in this chase. He wouldn't be the 1st driver start out with a win only to have things fall apart but if he seriously challenges for the cup, he can count me as a fan - of his driving.

He's a goofy guy, so his personality isn't for everyone. I like that he says what's on his mind, even when it makes me cringe. I actually had a little back and forth with him on twitter when he declared AJ's career over even if the B sample is negative because he's damaged goods.

I'll tell you one thing, it's real hard to get Brad off his game. Winning the NW championship while Carl (Kyle jumped in too) was wrecking the hell out of him showed that.
