Let's see how long we can prevent this from landing in the podium.

What neither article addressed that I could see was that if you are considered a commercial vehicle in a pick up truck, you have to have a log book required by the D.O.T. and abide by their hours of service requirements. So in Cala f ya you have to hit the scales, and if they pull you down for an "inspection" besides the insurance requirement, your truck and trailer has to jump thru all the the inspection hoops and your log book has to be up to date. Real easy to get a $1500 log book ticket and shut down for 32 hours. You have to run 55 mph and stay in their numerous "truck lanes" , most of them are hard to stay in as you have to switch from one interstate to another. Can ya tell I hate that place when I drove a truck..BTW don't let them catch you sitting still and idling. They are the #1 screwed up state, Kentucky is a close second. It is just another money grab, they are so broke they have to do something.

It's the a**hole democrats that run this state that continue to ****k the pocketbook of each and every citizen. We can't have guns, we can't paint with single stage urethane paint, we can no longer use degreasers, we have insane emissions laws, etc. I could go on and on. Now this a**hole governor wants to double vehicle registration again. If you have a small manufacturing business or automotive repair shop, you are so over-regulated and over taxed that it's almost impossible to get ahead. Every independent auto repair shop that I've worked for in the past is out of business.

As a Californian who's the son of a contractor(have fun getting your GC here), and someone who's earned a living in auto repair and would never want to own a shop of their own.. Bobby nailed it.

Wish we could trade a little of that California sunshine for some of this Monsoon Season we are having here in the Carolina's. Thankful for the rain but would be nice to see a little more sunshine.

And we would gladly take it. I hope the farmers and ranchers can hold out.
