Just wondering how people decide if they enjoyed the race or not. Does your driver have to win?

If your driver leads every lap except the last, would you rate it low?

Would you rather see your driver lead every lap or see some lead changes?

And finally, why do people watch a race they know the wont enjoy?

I really don't rate the race until afterwards and my driver doesn't have to win... or even be close. If a driver lead every lap except the last, I would rate that as a high, due to the fact that the "uncontended front-runner" got beat. I really get board with a race when there is not too many lead changes... my driver/team or not. I enjoy every race, granted I do chritisize the drivers from time to time, but just because I complain doesn't mean that it was a waste of time. Maybe one part of the race I wasn't too pleased with, but the goods still outweigh the bads.

I rank it on the "viewability" and "entertainment value" of the race.

I think you've hit on something that might really bite some people. I know that for me, rating a race has to wait for me to actually stop and think about the races. If my favorites are taken out whether early or late, it sure makes a difference about my opinions right after the race, but when I stop to think about the actual racing, then I make up my mind. But it's pretty hard for me to like a race when my fav is taken out, especially late in the race if he's leading. :(
