Xfinity RACE thread --- Martinsville

Alan is full of ****
Alan knows what he is talking about it is nothing but Richard and Andy petrees fault for both cars not getting in the final four you should not ever have a driver in a situation like be that clueless.

I honestly didn't see ANYTHING wrong with what Creed did. It was one of those situations where you either go for it, or you just concede. If anyone at RCR has a lick of sense, they would have ordered Hill to drop in behind Sheldon and protect his rear flank. Hill was trying to be a hero when he didn't need to be. John Hunter's actions at that point were WAY more questionable than anything Sheldon did. What did I say a few days ago about unforced errors and beating yourself? This is a classic case. That ANYONE involved didn't know the exact scenario, especially after what seemed like a 45 minutes caution/red flag to talk it over is 1000% inexcusable.

Alan doesn't know what he is talking about. Hill wasn't going to race for second BECAUSE he didn't know where Custer was going to finish. Both guys, Creed and Hill were racing for the win. As it is, guess who got in, Allgaier AND Custer. Proving it wasn't a good idea to be racing for second.

:XXROFL: And everybody else, Allgaier, Custer and Smith should just say oh ok, fine lol.

Asked if Creed — who will leave the team after this season — would be in the No. 2 car in next week’s season finale at Phoenix, Childress did not answer before getting in a golf cart and being led away from the track.

I didn't say THAT. I said that's what they should have been trying to do. Doesn't mean it would have worked, but it couldn't work any less than what they ended up doing. Once again, make THEM beat YOU. Don't do the dirty work FOR them. Creed is just the fall guy since he's leaving. If Hill was the one leaving, they would be dumping on HIM. Creed had no choice but to try to pass Hill. Hill had a choice to not race him so hard. At worst, that was a 50-50 deal.

Hill had to finish 5 spots ahead of Custer if he ran second at the green, white checker point of the race, You should be able to figure it out from there. Creed's team thought that was a good idea, Hill's team didn't think it was worth the risk. I believe Custer was around 4th or 5th at the GWC.

John Wes Townley drove for RCR so this is false.

If Richard wants to take shots he should aim his Bass Pro Shops gifted rifle (shout out Johnny Morris) at NASCAR for creating this environment.

Dale wrecked Terry Labonte twice at Bristol going for the win. Race car drivers go for the win, has nothing to do with NASCAR’s created environment.

Richard used to like employing race car drivers.

I don't have a problem with anything Creed did, a yard of difference off the nose and we've got a different winner.

shoutout to Sammy Smith who was putting on a show leading laps before the barrage of caution, didn't advance but climbed back up to 3rd.

That was a short track race with a heuuuge (my best gerbil Burton) prize for winning. A wad of them were only a few points out of going to the final 4. I expected a free for all. I doubt tomorrow is going to be different. They all watched the Xfinity race. All 6 of the 8 know what they need to do for the 2 spots left. The rest would love the clock to take home.

Sammy wasn't happy at all with Nemowreck. The boy has some spunk in him. Looking forward for him to be racing for JR next year.

Just finished the DVR. Not a bad effort from Creed. Glad he’s getting away from RCR. Would’ve like to have seen Sheldon get the win.

Can’t believe RC said that wow. Creed was in a must win situation racing for an org that he won’t be driving for next year. In what world is he expected to ride behind hill to let him win??? Childress is on the copium. Might be rooting for a jgr entry next year 😂

So what you're saying is that Creed should have just rolled over and let Hill keep the lead. What possible incentive does Creed have for doing that?

Sooo did nobody else see Creed brake check Hill in the middle of 3/4?
I don’t see why he would brake check with the field bearing down on him. I think his entry was screwed up, he got in deep and washed up the track and had to stop to get it pointed the right way. There was too much at stake to try to brake check at that moment.

Creed drove over his head and blew the turn? It wasn't pretty, I bet Richard didn't like that move ya think?

Screw Childress and Petri. I’ll be cheering for Sheldon next year to get his first win especially against those RCR asshats.
I could be wrong, but I don't think you are going to be cheering much. Love is coming to town for RCR, and Sammy will be slamming for JR. The dummies are holding up Heim in the trucks.

I'll go with Dale's assessment of the incident. This is EXACTLY the scenario that so many people CLAIM to want, and then want to bitch when it doesn't go down nice. The format is basically throwing a M80 into a chicken coupe. Your can't whine when the feathers start flying.
