Robert "Bootie" Barker, who spent most of the season as crew chief for Winston Cup driver Dave Blaney, has moved to Haas Automation' s No. 00 Chevrolet and NASCAR Busch Series driver Jason Leffler.

Barker will stay on board as Leffler's crew chief next season as well, when he runs full-time in the Busch Series with Haas.

I really wonder what prompted Bootie's departure from the Jasper team? Inquiring minds and all............Oh, well, good luck to him and Jason for next year.

Great break for Jason Liefler, I think "Booty" can really teach him something.

Maybe "Booty" will move back to Cup with Jason when it is time.
