Remaining Races - Best Among The Contenders At The Track
10/19 - Martinsville - Jeff Gordon 8.86 average finish.
10/26 - Atlanta - Ryan Newman 10.00 average finish.
11/2 - Phoenix - Dale Earnhardt Jr 10.44 average finish.
11/9 - Rockingham - Jeff Gordon 14.90 average finish.
11/16 - Homestead - Ryan Newman 6.00 average finish.

Championship Outlook
Matt Kenseth's problems at Talladega and Kansas have given the other competitors hopes that they might just get back in this. Kenseth could finish last at Charlotte at still have at least a 108 point lead. Is the Roush curse catching up with Kenseth? My magic eight ball keeps saying "Check back after Martinsville."

Championship Outlook
WOW! What A Race! Any of the top 5 could easily wind up with the crown. The next two races (Charlotte and Martinsville) will be critical. All these drivers need to avoid early trouble while still trying to win the race. That won't be an easy task. None of the drivers has a good track record at CharlotteBuckle in. This race could be very entertaining.

WOW! What a Race, Part II! Any of the four driver could win the championship. Of course the next two races are critical. Gaughan has dominated at Texas and short track ace Dennis Setzer has already won three short track races this year leads the series into Martinsville after Texas.

Interesting stats TB,

going make for an exciting month and a half of racing on the track.

Well, hopefully I will get to see Brendan win his 4th straight Texas race on Saturday! :) And boost his championship points standing, too!

I'm a David Starr fan myself. Would love to see him win at his home track.

I like David Starr, too. It's just 4 in a row at one track has never been done! B)

Hope Ted can gain some on the leaders Saturday. He had this race won last year till he got spun out by that stupid lap truck at the end of the race. David got wrecked out in the first Charlotte race, so I don't know what to expect, but hopefully he can just leave with the points lead.
