Oh man, I'm glad that one is over. My heart was pounding. I really didn't think my boy Blue (MW) would make it. Let's hope he can use this win to build some momentum after that month slump he's had.

ALRIGHT MIKEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear that roof hatch was made just for him. He looked so funny standing up in his car, but what a great way to celebrate!

If only every race could be at Daytona or Talladega, Michael Waltrip could be our NASCAR Champion. Congrats Mikey !

You'll see Michael win on another track, but then critics will complain about something else. Fact is MW won. A win is still a win no matter what track you win at, last time I checked. :)

Congrats Mikey. I think I remember him saying he wanted to be the first to use the roof hatch, just not in a wreck. and he did just that.

Congrats to Mikey, had to start aat the end of the longest line with Jr, and Jimmie Johnson after the penalty and came from the back to win. It was a deserved win. Also, did anyone notice that everyone was trying their best to keep Jr and mikey apart?

Did anyone see that 4-5 wide race to the checkered from 4th on down, man that was tense.

Had to be one of the best races I've seen!

This is the first race I've gotton to see live in months, and it was a good one! I thought my heart was gonna jump outta my chest and bounce across the room; that was fun.

Congrats Mickey, now lets win on a short track.

Yeah I noticed they were trying to get them seperated....well they failed :p I think Jeff Gordon kinda helped Mikey in a way, not on purpose though. If Jeff wouldnt have been there, I think Jr. would have passed Mikey.

YAY MIKEYYYYYYYYYY YOU GO BOY!!!!!

I think I have the cleanest house in all of Texas. My heart was in my throat the entire race. I dusted to a fair-thee-well, washed every dirty dish, washed clothes, and paced the floor. After the 38 crash, I had to go walk the north 40 to calm down.

This ain't racing! :(

I was so nervous, had to watch the last few laps from the computer off of trackpass. That's how I know Mikey was leading when the last caution came out. Let's remind those Mikey naysayers, that NH would have been Mikey's if it was not for a pit road mistake. He can win at other tracks and he will. He won this race out right this time. No yellow flag at the end, no rain, in a car that he did not like the full race. This was all driver and a well deserved win. :bounce:  :D

sorry I disagree the best talladega race was earnhardt's 76th win in 2000. Too bad it was his last.

Forever 3 :lilangel:

I would say congrats to mikey but I just cant I hate these tracks. Also even if I didnt I think these tracks relie more on the car and not the driver then any other track. congrats to dei

nothing suspicious about that race at all
Just because DEI works its hardest to perform well at these superspeedways, all the Earnhardt-haters think there's foul play. Every driver has their best tracks, and for Jr. and Waltrip, it's at Daytona and Talladega.

you know what I love, this conspricy crap, hmmmmmm let me see how many wins does jr. have? 1 and how many does newman have? 7 Yep looks like they are giving jr. all the advantages

what a way to bring a teams esteem back out of the dump!!!! way to go mikey
