It was very nice not having the track covered in dirt.

9. They've gotta dial the tire wear down just a little bit from there, but it was overall really nice to see a race again where drivers had to conserve what they've got and use talent not to overdrive it. I hope NASCAR and Goodyear take this as inspiration on how to move forward.

9.5. It wasn’t the race I was expecting but I sure enjoyed it. When I first became a fan managing tire wear, getting the correct tire stagger and not abusing your engine were all very important things if you wanted to finish a race.
