I was snooping on another forum and they said that Kyle had fired Christian. Anyone know the scoop on that?

I think they are putting him in the 44 car next weekend.

Cristian was already scheduled to drive the 44 car before John being fired so he was moved back to the 44 for this race and Shane Hmeil is going to drive the 43 at Daytona. After Daytona, Cristian should be back in the 43.

MAYBE, he will go back to the 43.

It was just miss information. Christian will be back in the 43 at Chicago but will again drive the 44 at The Glen, Lowes' and Dega I belive, I think there is another one.

Now if Shane works out in the 43 I (can't belive I am sayignthis) think PE should try him out a few more races later this year. It looks as if his BGN team might not last alot longer so he might be lookign for a ride. Plus having a Hmeil on the team might help PE some, Steve might give little pointers to PE from time to time to help Shane.

Snooping at MSF? I saw my bud 'jslone' posted that...lol!

Listen, Hmiel's chances of "working out" in the 43 aren't any better than Andretti's. Kyle Petty needs to realize that putting in these drivers wont magically make Petty Enterprises problems disappear. There is no real solution to their problem, and if you ask me Kyle Petty is fighting an uphill battle. What Kyle Petty needs to do is to get equipment specialists that know what theyre dealing with. Not a race goes by where you dont see either the 43 or the 45 breaking a camshaft, transmission, spoiler, motor, carbureator, rear end gear, whatever (ps thats basically all the parts that broke at once on Nadeaus car during last years Infineon race when he nearly got the win). Petty Enterprises was once the apple of racers eyes and now, they're the laughing stock of the racing industry. Firing and Replacing drivers will clearly not work, it's the equipment that needs to be dealt with and Kyle and Petty Enterprises need to realize that.

Kyle had built Petty Enterprises around Adam and the way they were building the franchise around Adam, Petty Enterprises looked like they would return to stardom. But when Adam died in 2000, I think their plan just clearly felt apart. It also looks as if Buckshot Jones, another young, aspiring driver was a victim of Petty Enterprises downfall when basically his rookie years fell apart when he was expected to be winning championships like it's nobody's business. Well, thats my two cents, wooo, time to take a deep breath.
