Dear Helmeted Yellow Speeding Comet Of Safety,
My name is @nascarcasm. Don't worry -- I can't pronounce it either.
I write you on the behalf of many. Your performance on Sunday was one for the ages. It was viewed by millions on national TV. You worked your ass off. Then you fell on it. But I digress.
I wanted to let you know that you and your fellow safety workers are never, ever taken for granted. You are the ones who arrive first on the scene after a harrowing shunt. You ensure the drivers are safe. You attach mangled piles of sheet metal that were once race cars to the hook. Sometimes, you even have to intervene without visibly laughing when Jeff Burton and Jeff Gordon engage in a playground slapfight right in front of you.
