You'll see it get back to the norm, weather permitting.

Agreed,the plate races since the gen-6 that have been more crazy than usual are '13 Spring Dega, '14 July Daytona, '15 July Daytona, and Sunday. And what's the common denominator there... the threat of weather.

Weather and a growing feeling of invincibility. These drivers have been racing for a while now without repercussion. Time after time, they see their fellow drivers walk away from some pretty nasty events. Maybe even them themselves. Probably giving them a sense of them being more safe than they are. There was a time when there was respect on the track. A little more give and take instead of just take. At some point, at just about any given track, something will happen to shock them and us back into a sense of reality. Until then, we'll probably see much of the same.
