Brewco Motorsports Employee Passes Away
Brewco Motorsports lost a huge part of its heart and soul Sunday when long time employee, Barry Priest, died from an ATV crash in Muhlenberg County, KY.

Priest, 49, was riding near the Peabody Wildlife Management Area with four friends when the crash occurred. Priest did not see a gate across the road and after striking a metal fence was thrown from the vehicle. Kentucky State Police pronounced the Central City, KY native dead at the scene.

Barry Priest was an outgoing, funny, and dedicated employee of Brewco Motorsports, Inc. An employee since 1995, Priest most recently transported the Timber Wolf showcar for demonstration and publicity purposes.

Priest was loved by all who knew him. Everyone will remember what a fair, friendly, and honest man he was. A kid at heart, Barry was always looking for new hobbies and opportunities to be with his friends. A successful drag racer, Priest had only recently started riding ATV’s. Priest is survived by his wife, Frieda.

"The loss of Barry is a tremendous shock to everyone at Brewco Motorsports. Barry was one of the original members of the Brewco Motorsports family and he will be greatly missed by all his friends at Brewco. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Frieda and their entire family," Brewco General Manager, Todd Wilkerson added.

Priest, a fixture at Brewco Motorsports since its beginning, had an amazing passion for life and will be missed by all.
