Received Jeff's autobiography for Christmas and Im about 50 pages in. Its an outstanding read so far, I recommend it to Gordon fans especially as well as any motorsports fan. So much more than just NASCAR. Honestly it has altered my perception of how I view Jeff as a role model in a positive way. Pick it up ASAP :)

Is it a complete puff piece or do we learn more about any struggles he's had? That's been my hesitation about picking it up..

That would make a great gift for my wife, big Gordon fan.She watched a few races when he filled in for Jr.,but otherwise didn't watch Nascar. She loves going to watch short track racing with me.

The only NASCAR autobiography I've read is "DW" and I thoroughly enjoyed it even though I was not a fan of him. For those who have read that and Gordon's book, which would you say is the better one? I'm not a Gordon fan either fwiw.

I may buy it.

I have the Jeff Gordon NASCAR Superstar Story one. That one gets in-depth but probably outdated abit.

Talks about his upbringing, relationship with Dale, scrums he had with Rusty etc. Does this one talk more about his kids and stuff? @ChexOrWrex

Chapter 3 (I think that's the correct number) is entirely dedicated to his 1st marriage. That's where I left off. Haven't started back up yet.

So far it sticks close to his upbringing in racing and his views on how he grew up, not so much his real personal life. Atleast not yet. Im still in the first third of the book.

I'll probably get it at some point, but I haven't even had time to read the last few books I bought several months ago.

He's a class act for sure. Even when he won so many races in a certain year that the fans started to complain and throw **** at him on his victory lap. Kinda reminds me of the way the democrats have been acting when the republican won, minus the cop car burnings , celebrities promising to leave, a recount.and all kinds of media garbage.
