I don't like them because they're both whiney punks. I.E. listen to all of austins meltdowns on radioactive.

because he is the son of the trophy wife born to race and carry on the family name in nascar. Why is Chase routinely your go to example when you're trying to point out double standards?
He's a great driver too... I think Ty is better though.
what do you think harvick is going to do for his son, tell him no. he is a ass about this. They're punks according to harvick... and as for harvick we learned in 2003 he's got that "yap, yap mouth"...according to Ricky Rudd

Casey Mears, Paul Menard, David Gilliland, David Regan……..
A couple of those are gone after several hundred races.
Chase Elliott doesn't drive for a relative, I'm sure Bill helped all he could but had no ties with Rick Hendrick. No top tier teams came calling for Austin when he was coming up through the ranks. I have nothing against Austin I just don't think their situations are the same, Austin seems a little like he is entitled where Chase doesn't come across that way.
I've never liked Austin Dillon because of the lame cowboy hat
Chase Elliott brings a tremendous marketing opportunity to the table ... most of it accrues to who his father was. Assuming sufficient talent, and he has plenty of it, only a fool would squander that. The Dillon kids are in a different situation but it's similar in many ways.
Grandfathers and fathers with law degrees from Harvard have a way of getting their sons and daughters through the right doors. Why wouldn't they? The same thing works for longshoremen, firefighters, peace officers, doctors, teachers, small business owners, farmers and on and on ad infinitum.
It's the way the world works. The idea that NASCAR should somehow be set apart from all of that is not only unrealistic, it's ridiculous.
Easy to form opinions on people you dont even know.
By this thought why has a top team approached Ty since Richard didn't provide him with a ride. I have heard people on here say they think Ty is better than Austin. While I understand your point, why would a team waste their time offering a ride to Austin when his grandfather owns a top team?
Their situations are entirely different but dont think for one second that if Bill Elliott owned a team that Chase wouldn't be driving for him.

Honestly, I'm not sure I've ever heard any drivers I know bring them up for any reason at all. Ever. As far as I'm concerned they're pretty invisible. I think everyone knows "the deal" (and have always known that "the deal" would be "the deal" at some point). But I also think both boys have had enough success at the lower levels that it doesn't seem egregious. It just is what it is.

Lol drivers definitely trash other drivers, and how some got jobs. Not in "stew over it and think it's not fair" kind of way...more in a "we all know the only reason that f*cker has a job, so that ticking time bomb better not come anywhere near me on the track" kind of way. I've just never heard anyone say anything about the Dillon boys for any reason, good or bad. You can either interpret that as a good thing (respect) or a bad thing (irrelevant). That is about what I figured as if another driver has time to worry about how other drivers got their jobs and then stew over it if they think it is not fair......well....to put it nicely they have way to much time on their hands.

What top teams have offered Ty a ride? He only drove for Stewart as a replacement and is now driving in RCR affiliate team. I think Ty is the better if the 2 as well but he's still a guarantee to be in a RCR car sooner than later.
People may sat Ty is the better of the 2 of them, but in trucks and Xfinity I've always thought Austin was better.
And by the way the large majority of fans that I saw at the Coke 600 cheered very loud when Austin won.
Can you put Richard Petty in the silver spoon crowd?? I think not...They have to be great drivers. Their grand father and father were dominate drivers in NASCAR competition. Genetics play a role (roll for our special friends) in this sort of thing.
Yep, Buddy Baker, Dale Jarrett... Kyle Petty did ok, he also "lucked" in on his first win....A last name can get you a shot but talent keeps a ride.
