Cup RACE thread --- Watkins Glen

I'm going on a mini vacation to San Antonio this weekend, so I probably won't be here
to open the race thread.
However, I've given a member temporary permission to open the racing threads.
I'll have my laptop and will be checking in periodically to keep up with the races. I may
even be back early enough on Sunday to catch some of it.

Open at the green. Gosh, I love Watkins Glen.

You do realize that they have to scream and talk loud with the way they are doing this race right? Some of them are not in a booth that keeps the sound out. If they talked normally, chances are you might not hear them.

While I like the idea of reporters around the track, it is not good because they have to scream to be heard.

That’s what they are doing. The yelling is because they’re shouting over the cars in the sectors of the track
