SiriusXM's NASCAR Radio - Today's, not so hidden, agenda.....

Moody covered what he wrote in his blog on his show. Man, talk about an RCR/NASCAR homer. It was like some of the fanbase said something that might have defamed the 3 car. Circle the wagons, them's fightin' words. Pick up the phone and call NASCAR and see what they want us to write and talk about and get it out there quick was the immediate reaction.:D

A "homer" IMO kisses the ass of a single driver/team/organization (think me and TRD/Toyota). An ass kisser kisses the ass of whoever is the hot storyline. Moody is an ass kisser, and drills the common dude to demonstrate his allegiance to the flavor of the month.

not a good morning in MY TRD powered radio land it sounds like

Nope. Great morning in MY TRD land. MY Camrys had speed over the weekend. Did more with less (car counts), and kept me on the edge of my seat until the end. If Goodyear could build a tire, MY driver would have been there too. All good.

yeah I'm likin that swing a way rear end feature this year from the TRD skunkworks, Funny How KDB had nothing but tire troubles and the Hambone didn't but he said he did.

Chase spec.

JMO but if I wanted to get much out of Nascar radio, I had to listen at night. Most of the time that is when they have drivers and other personnel involved in the sport being interviewed. At least it used to be that way when I had a subscription. But who listens at night most of the time. They didn't have the call in goofs at night either thankfully.

Yes it's good stuff.....funny they both use the same line "NASCAR has never once told me what to say". haha

Good Year built the tire and #18 team couldn't race it. Everyone else had no problem.
I wonder who on the crew hates KDB so much? Maybe it was someone on the #11 crew.
Just maybe it was payback from the #78?
Regardless only the #18 had a problem so they own it regardless of all the denials.

Yeah, tongue and cheek man. Just giving @StandOnIt the business.

Moody on this morning on TMD--which I hate--like he is any kind of expert. Anyway, I am pretty sure that Pistone, Bagley, and Moody did a whole segment without mentioning the winner of the damn race. All about pit guns and pit calls. If this is the voice of NASCAR Nation, we are completely ******. Shut it down now. We had a 25 lap shootout between the sport's two hottest drivers, and this is what we talk about? Sad.

The Morning Drive is an utter waste of programing time. They read Tweets now. Perseverating on PJ1 application now. IMO, programs like this are part of NASCAR's problem. These guys are clueless. Terrible. Off. @dpkimmel2001....I need some Hoda time.

My God is this channel pushing the crap out of the all-star package. Every day. Just now I had Jim Noble telling me he couldn't even visibly tell the difference in speed when they were all racing together AND the racing was better so yay let's adopt it.

Stop. You have been in the sport for how many years and you can't see the difference in speed of 170mph vs. 200 with the naked eye? Hell you don't even need to see it, Jim, you could HEAR it!

This is insane, just flat out slurping up the Kool-Aid. Nobody on that station has a backbone.

I can tell the difference but it doesnt matter to me. Dr. Berggren has been around a long time and I agree with him. Put the package in. Now.

hmmm this clip says the opposite about pushing the All Star package according to Moody, of course what does he know. He never says a thing about KDB either

Brendan Gaughn just told Bagley and Pistone on NASCAR Radio that fat guys have an advantage on hot days because they regulate heat better than guys who are in shape. You cannot make this **** up. The Morning Drive is hitting all time lows. Bottom of the septic tank stuff. Dumbasses.

I'm pretty sure that the only reason that those 2 are still on the morning drive is because with Sirius there's no real way to tell how many people are actually listening at any given point.

Trading paint can be good, Depends who Moody has on for guests if its any good, for the most part I like the late shift, i can't stand dialed in and the best show on the station is probably happy hours

I agree. Well said.

They sure can't brainwash fans to watch or attend races !
Who wants brain washed fans? If they cant find enjoyment in it then they can do something else. Anyway you slice it, its racing and I for one am damn glad we have it no matter what the format.

Dear God....Bagley on the NBC broadcast Sunday....Now Nate Ryan and Bagley's producer are interviewing him on how he will approach the broadcast. Where is that off button? Oh there it is. :bleh:

Boy Moody sure is slurping the KDB sauce today. He just insists that Chase and Truex would have been fighting for 2nd if he had made his way back up there with them. He's never been the biggest Chase cheerleader from what I've heard in my time listening, but he sounds more impressed and congratulatory over the 18's 3rd place than he does the win.

The idea isn't that far fetched. He started somewhere around 21st (or somewhere around there?) and drove to 3rd without the aid of any cautions. Put him out front and I think he'd be hard to pass. BTW I'm very, very far from what I would consider a Kyle fan

I said in another thread that Kyle drove like an absolute demon to get to P3 and if there were another 2 laps, he might have gotten the W based on fuel.

Although looking at the mid race battle for the lead between Chase & Busch, and how much slack Chase was giving Kyle not to wreck him, I don’t think Kyle had anything for him. Even with Kyle flying through the field, his laptimes were not as solid as Chase’s and MTJ’s.

Kyle Busch is such a clutch driver though. And Elliott did make mistakes with Truex behind him. Honestly it looked like Truex cut Chase some slack too.

It was a remarkable drive. Had anyone other than Chase won, it would be a bigger deal. People are allowed to have an opinion of the race that differs from Elliott=GOAT.
