Anyone watching? Some great tennis this year.
Can’t believe Federer is already out.
Some hard back to back 4 hour matches for Rafa.
Serena looks unbeatable.

I can't believe Federer is out either. He's a bit more inconsistent now. I guess I'm just glad he's still playing at all. I will certainly be watching some of the matches now that the quarter finals are underway. My favorite individual sport that doesn't involve racing something.

Sharapova got manhadled by a low seeder. Sad.

Nadal now has an excellent chance at winning now that Federer is out. Something to watch out for.

Thiem and Nadal in a good battle now. Rafa is an athletic specimen. Let’s see if the kid can keep up with him.

Yes, the wife and I love watching tennis. In fact , we met on a tennis
court 31 years ago. When I first saw her 2 handed backhand,
I knew I had to have her on my team ! Forever !

We have the tennis channel on our cable and have really enjoyed
watching all the tournaments this year. Every week there has been a tourn.
somewhere.

I felt bad for those players in those hot conditions though. Should be a great
rest of the week on to the finals.

Nadal had to retire in his match due to knee pain, yikes.

Watching the Djokovic match now.

Naomi Osaka wiped the floor with Serena Williams. Was not even close.

Serena again disrespects officials when she’s losing. I don’t give her a pass.
She’s an amazing athlete and the greatest all-time female player but personally she’s a jerk.
She threw a tantrum and broke her racket.
It bothers me when millionaires belittle the people below them.
After that display, I'm glad she lost.
The hack announcers backed her up and that is pathetic.

Her attitude and treatment of the other players is the main reason that I can't stand her. It would be fine with me if she never won another tournament.

That is an interesting admission from someone who says there's no problem when Kyle Busch acts that same way. Why do you hold the lady to a higher standard of behavior than the driver?

(Just for the record, I find the behavior of both very distasteful.)

Hypocrites abound in this forum.

Nice try.
Did you ever see her tell the female line judge that she was going to stuff a ball down her throat?

^ Blah, blah, blah. Rude boorish behavior is rude boorish behavior.

Djokovic was on fire today, and it wasn't much of a match. Congrats to him and del Potro for getting that far.

Could not agree more with you more on this.
Now the press is conjuring up a sexism conspiracy scandal on the chair umpire.
Please….. just report the facts as they happened.
Serena showed who she truly is with her actions.
It was one of the most disturbing behavior of a famous athlete
that I have ever seen on every level.
