I didn't know it was a rule, myself, I was making a joke, a bad one I guess. I thought they were going to see who was leading when the caution fell, it looked pretty simple, but I am not surprised at anything in that race. More short tracks?


Well it's a rule that you need to maintain pace car speed to maintain track position in the national series'. Same deal here I'd assume
 
Did anybody attend the race? My family has attended the cup races there the last 11 years and we wanted to check this out. If so, is it worth the price of admission and $10 of gas? Martinsville hotdogs on the menu for this event as well?
 
And then they stop the field just shy of start/finish and the leader can't re-fire and loses the race? Or am I missing something? The 02 was never in the lead as far as I can tell
The 02 beat the 78 to the line on the restart. Lynn Carroll explained it in a combative press conference.
