Hello, sorry I'm new to this forums and have no idea where to post so if this is in the wrong section my apologies... anyway I'm working on an s10 street/drag truck and am stuck on which is better to run and why. Basically I'm either going to run a 4 link rear end with my 12 bolt or I'm gonna run a single leaf spring with slapper bars and anti-sway bars... just not sure which is better and why said one is better? Any input is appreciated thank you! Overall goals are 650hp/tq running a built lq4 motor/t56 6 speed Corvette tranny.

Look at a few others that are well built, the answer will come to you

I've tried looking for some forums but cant find any and the ones I do find only focus on the leaf spring alone so it is kind of confusing:/ any suggestions on where to look or what to type?

I figure that leaf springs are obsolete items, just go nuts on google and surely you will find something. Look up that Sonoma that used to be on street outlaws, it was pretty successful

4-link is better for drag racing. Ridged and adjustable.
If you’re going to run leafs, look into CalTracs.

S&W makes a very popular S-10 backhalf kit. Very affordable and easy to install.

That said, brains can make any setup work. Lyle Barnett owns the leaf spring record at 4.18 @ 195 in the 1/8. That converts to a 6.50-6.80 @ 220 or so in the 1/4.
