Hmmm, I'm good where I am right now, building up a little bit of points, it's a long season to go. Got to think of who to go with at Vegas. Could be a good race.

You don't want points in this game, Blazer. This one's free, the next one will cost ya:D

I get a top 5 with Michael McDowell. Who woulda thunk? I certainly wasn't expecting it. I got the highest finishing pick with a C driver list for crying out loud!

Stenhouse started on the front row, I didn't watch the race. I suppose he had a speeding penalty or something.

The 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series begins its west coast swing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the running of the Pennzoil 400 this Sunday.

Like last week, picks for the Las Vegas race were made from across the driver groups with "C Group" drivers Chris Buescher and Ryan Preece (picked by 4 players) being the most popular picks. "A Group" driver Brad Keselowski and "B Group" driver Paul Menard were each picked by three players.
Good luck to all and thanks for participating.

I really wanted to take an "A" driver in hope's of moving up a bit, but with the unknowns of this race, I settled for Ragan. If we do see pack racing, maybe the front guys will wreck and Ragan can get me a top 15.

Well my pick Harvick gets the pole! I was surprised nobody else had him. I sure need a bounce back from two poor results with C drivers.

I picked his teammate Suarez but he's starting in the middle of the pack. If Harvick's car is any indication, those SHR Ford's will have some speed.

I'd like to submit a formal complaint @FLRacingFan has hacked my picks.

Your complaint has been forwarded to a crack team of investigators that has been hired to look into, and carefully consider, all of the evidence.

Why anyone would do such a thing I have no idea, it's like cheating off a guy getting a D-.

Considering that @FLRacingFan was the standing's cellar dweller for most of last season and finished 23rd out of 24 players, maybe he cheating off the guy getting a D- because he's used to getting an F. :D

Damn @FLRacingFan... Roasted. Got anything on @pjmolo?

I still have the INAUGURAL Pick 'Em championship trophy sitting in my case. Even if it was in a watered down field...like Austin Dillon's Xfinity championship, it still counts. ;)

That is indeed true.

Also, @FLRacingFan finished a close second in the Pick 'Em game's second season and is the only player to participate from start to finish in each and every season.

And the rookies continue to impress.

The rookies being @Head423 and @Team Penske who maintained their position atop the game's leader board for the third week in a row.

Congrats to @Clutch, @FLRacingFan, and @Turtle84 who take this week's "Highest Finishing Pick" award as their driver, Brad Keselowski, come close to winning for the second week in a row before finishing on the tail of race winner Joey Logano in the Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Congrats also to @Turtle84 as he had the most upward movement in the standings this week by moving up 13 spots. Additional congrats to @acmerocket and @FLRacingFan who each advanced 12 spots in the standings.

It looks like I finally sunk to my normal spot for this time in the game. Lemme see where the darts gonna hit this week.

Ugh so frustrating. My value picks arnt value picks and instead becoming weights that are taking me straight to the bottom

I'm still riding my Michael McDowell pick from Daytona, which has allowed me to stay in the top 5 in the standings for now. Suarez was in the top 10 in the middle of the race but I guess his car fell off at the end.

It is dissapointing that I've gotten mediocre results with two class B drivers. This week however, I'm surprised to see that alot of folks struggled with their picks as well.
