Cup RACE thread --- Dover

Im having difficulty getting Matts point. If you dont have a good car then yes I imagine it is hard to pass. I saw passing all day long, in the front, top 10, and top 20. He was a 20-25th place car all day because he sucked. He barely outran a wrecked up piece of junk by driven by Hamlin

When the one Dover race you miss in 4 years one of your favorites wins

everybody was setup to run the bottom. like Bowman said, most of his passes were around the top which Guido in the leftovers Yota 2 laps down didn't have it for the RCR car. Dover is pretty much a one lane track. The truck race BTW was the best race of the weekend.

I feel sorry for Truex, a teammate and others drag their **ck thru the mashed potatoes and messes up Truex's day of winning, all that is being talked about is the "package" instead of Truex winning.

Just race the cars. You got what you brung so deal with it. If certain drivers don't win they have to blame somebody or something. It's never their fault. Damn Prima-donna's.

yeah I read that this A.M. Kinda funny that a large portion of the article is about how that team beat everybody with the way they set up the car and how they went about it. Dover is historically one of the toughest tracks to pass on, but none of the press we have these days find it important enough to mention, but the winner of the race did. The track gave them lemons, they made lemonade. So did the Hendrick cars.

I compare the press to fishing nowadays, they chum the waters, then sit back and watch the feeding frenzy!

Wow.

Denny Hamlin, on a teleconference with Pocono-area writers, says the right rear crush panel was knocked out yesterday so he had high CO levels and felt nauseous with some double vision by end of the race yesterday.

Some ideas of a carbon monoxide detector were being floated. Either in the car on the dash or something separate a driver could wear that alarms.

Challenging day on the body with the speeds and not much lift through the corners.
