The deadline for submittal of picks for the next race is Friday, May 10th, noon Eastern time.

The 2019 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series finds itself under Saturday night lights for the second time this year with the running of the Digital Ally 400 at Kansas Speedway.

This week's most popular driver pick is Tyler Reddick who was selected by thirteen players, the most since Jamie McMurray was picked by fifteen players for the Daytona 500.

Aric Almirola and Ryan Blaney were each selected by three players.

Three players will take a considerable hit this week as both @Stewart Fan and @Team Penske failed to submit a pick while @jws926 experienced an untimely brain cramp and picked a driver (Bubba Wallace) that he had used in a previous race.

And after failing to submit a pick for the fourth time this season, @DanicaFreak will be dropped from the game as per the rules of the game.
Good luck to all and thanks for participating.

I think he should remain in the standings chart as a DNF in 36th position. If I drop to 35th... which is not outside the realm of possibilities... I still am not in last place IMO..:idunno:

You will be after Sunday. :D

Doh!!, I was in a hurry and didnt scroll back to remind myself of the drivers I already picked, well then.

Like picking an A and having an engine failure on the first pace lap.

Even with all that you're likely to drop only one spot in the standings . . . . . :D

i think reddick is a great pick,he is the best of the part timers.

Didn't even know the race was on Saturday. Decided against using Reddick in his 2nd cup start, and talked myself out of using Jimmie. 13th for Harvick just doesn't cut it. An "A" pick pretty much wasted.

Congrats to the thirteen players that took this week's "Highest Finishing Pick" award. Their pick, Tyler Reddick, scored a top ten in just his second MENCS start by finishing 9th in the Digital Ally 400 at Kansas Speedway.

Congrats also to @Head423 and @DC76 for having the most upward movement in the standings, as they each moved up four spots.

Finally, congrats to @Clutch who has now held onto the top of the leader board for four consecutive races.

In case anyone is wondering, players are able to take a week off due to next week's All-Star Race not being a part of the game.

The game will resume in two weeks with the running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

How many C picks do I get?

36 races minus 7 "A group" drivers minus 14 "B group" drivers means you must use at least 15 "C group" drivers during the race season.

With one "NO PICK" under your belt you'll now only have to use 14 "C group" drivers over the course of the last 24 races.

I got a 9th place finish out of Bowyer last week, which is above his average finish. A 12th place finish out of Almirola is probably close to his average finish, so he delivered.

I've now got 2 top 5's & 3 top 10's for the season & sit 6th in the standings. I didn't expect this type of consistency when the season started. I think I have a shot to win this thing.
