2019 Spring/Summer Weather Thread

KT22 chair delivered the goods yesterday...what a friggin blast it was.

Bluebird skies today and more rain and snow in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.Might have to pull out the sick card and shred some more May powder on Monday. And yes, I'm a powder junkie.:D

Been pouring rain here since 2:30 AM. Thunderstorms are rolling in now and are predicted to go on throughout the day. I love some thunder and lightning

2ft of snow has fallen in parts of the Sierras including Squaw Valley, and it's still dumping. Monday is supposed to be partly cloudy and I'm gonna go to Squaw play in all that snow.:D

A fantastic pic of the legendary KT-22 chair that was shot last Thursday. The best spring skiing day of all time for me, and it's looking like tomorrow might even be better.

Bluebird today after getting pounded by thunderstorms yesterday that included a couple of inches of hail and rain. Here's a pic of a funnel cloud near Tracy that's about 30 min from my house. More rain and snow in the forecast starting tonight and into tomorrow.

This pic sums up my day today. Tons of fresh powder to be had and there was barely anyone there.

The young ski bums were out in full force hucking their meat all over the place. This vid doesn't do justice to how huge this backflip was.

a large area in theTulsa area including Tulsa is fixing to go underwater. The lake I am on an other area lakes are having to open the flood gates wider so wide spread flooding they say is going to occur and oh yeah, most of the area is under a tornado watch all of the way to Kansas..

Yeah, some powder turns on Memorial Day sounds good.:D If this is the product of climate change all for it.:lol2:

If it keeps this up It'll still be snowing when we get there in three weeks.

Are you going to Tahoe?
Yep. Sequoia, Yosemite, Tahoe and others. Taking the grand tour, eastern California on the way up to Oregon and the Western side via the Pacific coast highway on the way down. With a stop at Sonoma for the race. 8500 mile round trip pulling the beast.

Ever been to any of these places? If not, you just planned out an epic adventure and will be seeing some of the most beautiful places on earth.

This is what Half Dome looked like a few days ago. Looks like summer as officially kicked in, so you won't have to deal with anything other than blue skies.

I have some of them but the wife hasn't. She's going to be amazed. Almost a month in California from bottom to top and side to side to experience everything it has to offer. We're just dipping into Oregon to Fort Grant to get to the coast and come back down through the Redwoods.

Gotta love 5 bucks for a ticket to ski Squaw on Fridays. '60 in Tahoe and up into the '90s just a couple of hours from where I live.

This is how it looked at Squaw Valley today. Tons of snow and a great way to escape the heat.

Got real dicey around here just after 6. Really strong winds, heavy rain moved in. Tornado warning just to my SW.
About 3/4 inch in the rain gauge. Kind of scary for this old lady.

The good side --- Temp went from 104* to 73*. I can take that. LOL

It was 42 degrees when we woke up in the Bluewater Lake State Park NM Campground this morning.

Its 74 degrees now with low humidity on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It's supposed to drop down into the 40s tonight. I love it.

Take and post some pics Bud.

Had up to 30°C (86°F) in the last two weeks, but we keep getting like 3-4 thunderstorms a week and it rained basically the whole month of May.
So it's luckily not looking like another drought.

Up to 35 degrees (95) today, could go up to 100°F tomorrow. Only time I've experienced that so far was in Georgia two years ago.
Needless to say, we do not have air conditioning at home.

High of 99 degrees today with 88% humidity.

First day of rain here in N Cali in months and its snowing in Tahoe.:D The snow will be melted by tomorrow, but it sure is nice to see fall/winter is just around the corner.

Mr. Excitement, please send some of that rain to Texas. We're dry as dust. Last measurable rain at my house --- July 4.
Hasn't been below 100* for 2 months.
Right now, I'd take 2 feet of snow --- and I HATE snow. LOL
