Cup RACE thread --- Michigan

It seems like you are mad because Joey used to drive a Toyota and would have said that back then... 7 years ago.... when he had 2 race wins.. so hes not supposed to be happy to have gotten a Ford in victory lane at Michigan because he used to drive a Toyota? Nonsense.. it's almost like u just need something to find to complain about.

btw this race was not bad loved the pack racing Nascar just has to find a way to make it to pass the leader easier and this package would be flawless here at Michigan.
It was good.. but.. I think that's on the teams.. the 22 figured it out.. so can everyone else.

Do you not see the hypocrisy in the comment?
Some drivers act they have this great love for a brand until they don’t.
Like Tony Stewart and his love for Chevrolet until Ford made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Sorry I’m brand loyal. I like drivers who are as well

I think he is.. he was a kid when he came in to the sport.. of course hes going to go wherever he can.

When he moved to Ford he said he liked that he was in a Ford and has been a model of brand loyalty for several years no matter how well he ran.

That being said.. the driver has little say when they lose a ride they only have so many options.

It was okay, there was some passing here and there. Most of the time, it was a procession for the most part. Some guys have figured out the passing on the larger superspeedways it seems like. I just would like to see some off-throttle time here to create more runs off of corner exit. This holding the foot to the floor through and entire corner at Michigan is no beuno IMO.

I gave the race a 6, but from what I saw it was very difficult to pass. As it should be, but if I want to pass on the bottom and I know my car is handling better... I should be able to do so without losing all of the momentum I gained. Its insane to see cars that are handling better or getting a better run cannot maintain. It seems like Logano has it figured out and had a good piece today, yet Kurt had something in the end and couldn't do anything with it.

Love this sport, but Pocono and Michigan are big question marks come next race for them both. Say what you want, but I hope this and Pocono were outliers.

Yea driver brand has been dead forever. It’s who pays you the most and I’m okay with that. If Jeff Gordon came out of retirement tomorrow and drove for JGR, I’d still cheer for him. I’m a driver first, manufacturer fan second. But it did help he drove Chevy his whole career because I’m a General Motors fan

I have always been Chevrolet first it’s something I just can’t change so I don’t even try. My dad was a Chevrolet mechanic his whole life so I was indoctrinated very early in life.

Winner Winner.
